Condition: good; rusting to snaps on front; some snaps missing; small open seam along edge; couple tiny holes/snags; suitable for both wear and display

Additional Notes: This style of blouse developed in the Lowicz region of central Poland around WWI reflecting urban fashion influences. Even so, peasant women continued to incorporate traditional elements and made the blouses using bright colored commercial fabrics showing a mix of urban and folk sensibilities. Characteristic pleated ruffle around the bottom edge.
