Additional Notes: A beautiful Dutch woman’s apron from the village of Marken. Very dark navy color, heavy felted wool cloth with band of decorative plaid cotton at the waist joined by a decorative hand-worked seam. The maker’s initials “L.D.” are embroidered on both sides. The apron has metal loop fasteners for attaching waist and side ribbon ties, none of which are included.
