Condition: good; several small moth holes (all under 1/2″); missing embroidery threads along front opening; light signs of wear; suitable for both wear and display

Additional Notes: Heavy homespun brown wool coat worn from the Polissya region in north western Ukraine. Wool coats such as this were worn during cold weather by both men and women throughout Ukraine and differed slightly in their cut and ornamentation. This example is embroidered and decorated with red cord on the back seams and down the front opening. There are also small red pompoms on the back. Hand stitched. Natural color variation in the wool.
