Additional Notes: Traditional woman’s vest characteristic of Rusyn village of Jakubany in the Spis mountain region. These vests were made from a huge variety of fabrics ranging from solid colors, through wool challis florals, to modern printed designs of the post-war era. They can be easily identified by the use of cut felt trim around the edges. The vest has been made slightly smaller by folding under a few inched of fabric and stitching it down. This can easily be undone if you need the vest to fit larger.
