Additional Notes: This style of jacket is called a “komotka” and was worn throughout the Zahorie region in the 20th century making it hard to pinpoint the exact village it was made. Early styles were typically made of lighter fabrics and after WWII they were more often made of heavier fabrics such as this velvet example. Six white plastic buttons on the front for fastening.
