The costume includes a heavy linen blueprint skirt featuring a repeating pattern that is carefully pleated to create even rows of designs. The pieces are decorated with hand embroidery and various types of trim. The shoulder straps are fastened with safety pins so that they can be adjusted as necessary for a correct fit. Once you set the size you can choose to permanently stitch them together or continue to wear them with the pins. Vazec dresses have a characteristic cut that features a tightly fitted vest, flared skirt and a wide panel on the front of the skirt that is intended to be visible on the sides when worn with the narrow apron.
