Additional Notes: Traditional striped wool and cotton apron from the area of Borshchiv of the Podilia region. Borshchiv costumes are some of the most famous of all Ukraine due to their incredible embroidered blouses. This type of apron can be worn either with the regional black wrap skirt or the later pleated velvet skirt. The last photo above shows girls wearing this style of apron.
