Additional Notes: Short style lady’s vest from central Slovakia, from Podkonice or one of the nearby villages between Banska Bystrica and Prievidza. The colors indicate that the vest would have been worn by a young woman around the time of her marriage. Reminiscent from the back of Moravian vests from the Podluzi/Lanzhot area. Reference photo included above showing a woman from Podkonice wearing this style of vest.
