Additional Notes: This type of delicate shawl collar was worn in the Podluzi-Lanzhot area of Moravia along the border with Slovakia. Features floral whitework embroidery with cutwork and inset tulle. The edges are trimmed with handmade bobbin lace. The central motif along the bottom edge features two birds facing each other, which is repeated along the shorter sides in a slightly cruder and more abstract way.
