Additional Notes: Natural linen and cotton blouse with purple, blue and yellow embroidery and handmade crochet lace on the cuffs. Fastens with two glass buttons on the front. Fascinating due to the unique horizontally pleated accordion sleeves that create a stunning effect when worn. The blouse comes from the Crisana region in northwestern Romania along the border with the Transylvania region. While from a different region, the reference photo above shows two girls with similarly pleated blouses to give an idea of how it looks when worn.
