Description: Exceptional, early publication devoted to the traditional folk costumes of the Krakow region of Poland. Presents the history, development and varieties of Krakow peasant dress. The book comes with sewing patterns for making various garments for both men’s and women’s costumes (never been used). The book also contains 34 watercolor illustrations, historic black/white photos and 47 plates of drawings. There is some wear to the coved, but the book remains in generally good condition considering its age. This book is very collectible and difficult to find – a scarce early publication on the topic.
